Depeche Mode

Depeche Mode’s  European tour got back on track Monday with the band’s performance in Leipzig, Germany, following lead singer Dave Gahan’s surgery last month to remove a malignant tumor from his bladder.

“I’m grateful to the fans for showing their support and thankful to my family, friends and all of the doctors who looked after me so well,” Gahan, 47, said in a statement issued Tuesday.  “Being back onstage is an incredible feeling and I’m looking forward to each and every show.”

I write then I erase, then write and erase again.

Has it been to long since I gave an update to the world and there’s just too much to say, or maybe it always just seems a bit pompous of me to think that anyone gives a crap.

I’m going to assume that if you made it to the current paragraph… you give a crap, and proceed, but not too much as I can run on a bit, (proof shown by this ridiculously long, run-on sentence).

The most important bit of news is that “Regret the Heredity” is mixed, and almost ready for release. It’s been a long time coming, and I’m very proud of how it has turned out.

Next I want to brag on the new material… still 33, but a departure from RTH in my opinion. I’ve been so enjoying this process, I can’t wait to bring it out to play.

Here’s the first photo from last Saturday’s Roxy show with our friends Opus Dai, Oedipus, Junius and Cityzen.  We really have to thank the entire Roxy crew for being so f’ing cool.  We really hope to be back there soon.  And sorry for everyone who went to the after party and missed us, we had some interviews to do.  We promise next time to combine our interviews with drinking with fans.

If you missed our show last July with KHZ and special guest Dave Navarro, then we’re really sorry because it was a great show.  Everyone at The Viper was amazing, and the sound was really great that night.  Sadly, Mack had to use backline drums – which is never fun but we got through it.   Special thanks to everyone that made that happen!

This month’s Playmate was photographed at a Steel Panther (Metal Skool) show at the Key Club and a 33DEGREE sticker can be seen in front of her!  It pays to promote!!!
